rough draft

Here goes... I am almost completely finished making my 101 in 1001 list. I even tried to separate the items into different categories. I don't feel like I am completely done. I definitely need to edit the list. I want to make a few things a little more clear and measurable. I also might get rid of some of the ideas, and add new ones.

I'm posting this on here so I can get some editing help from you all before I begin. Help me out. What goals sound weak? How can I improve on the items in this list? Can you think of anything I should add. Critique it; share your opinions....

Looks like a great list.
A few comments (per your request):
- catalog books and reorganize bookshelf seem to be almost too similar to be separate
- I love that your dog is named Fenway
- do you want to cook for friends 5 times or can it be 5 friends at once?
- the supporting local artists is vague enough to be hard to definitively check off. same for etsy. I'd choose a number of things to buy or something.
- you lived in VA? I live in VA!
- I think this is just because you're brainstorming, but numbering it helps you and your readers.

It looks like a wicked good list. I look forward to following it. I am about to start my second go at the 101 in 1001 on Jan 1 on www.nufah.com. My first try would have worked out better had I had good other lists to follow. Good luck!

beamer: thank you, thank you, thank you. i was getting a little discouraged without any feedback. i think i worked so hard on the list for about a week, everything blends into itself...so i wanted to see if it were even interesting!! i think you have good ideas.
i'm going to combine the 2 ideas about books you mentioned.
i am going to cook for friends 5 times. i need to rewrite that to make it clearer.
i don't know how to make the local artists and etsy more clearer. how many times do you think is reasonable? i want to do it as often as possible, but i also don't want to go bankrupt.
i do plan on numbering it. i actually think i'm over 101 right now. it is hard to read if it isn't numbered. i agree.

thank you, i love the name fenway too. before i named her that, i felt like NO ONE had a dog named fen. now i know about 10 people who have new dogs named fenway. oh well!
i did live in VA, norfolk area, and i miss it terribly!
i'll be reading your 101!! thanks again for the comment!

The supporting artist/etsy thing is really up to you. One of mine is to buy one piece of art off a coffeehouse/restaurant wall. I figure that that may get me started and I'll do more. You seem to have a mindset where you want to do that regardless of the list, so you probably don't need to mandate 10 purchases or something like that. My list will be going live at midnight (12:01, actually) on my new home, http://www.nufah.com/. Have fun tonight!
